Well, it is officially 2016, and everyone we know is thinking about what they are going to do to improve their lives this year. Some people resolve to exercise more. Others want to travel. This time of year makes us all ask ourselves: “How can I be at my best?” Coincidentally, your pool is asking the same question! The new year is a great time to consider a pool renovation. Here at Allen Pool Service, we start renovation work in February to make sure all of our clients have their dream pools by the summer! Now is the ideal time to start planning.
This month’s Renovation Spotlight highlights a recent makeover we completed for a family in Marietta. This particular client came to us with several issues: first, the concrete deck around the pool was cracking, and secondly the client was unsatisfied with the previous owner’s design choices. She wanted to upgrade the look and finish of the pool while also improving safety for her children. Her first step was to come into the Allen Pool Service showroom, where we worked with her to find materials (plaster and tile) that fit both her vision and price range.

After that, we were ready to start the job. We completely removed the old plaster and tile and reconstructed a large portion of the deck. The project was completed in a matter of weeks and the pool looks better than new.
Our goal is to develop long term customer relationships, and we’re proud to say that over 90 percent of our business comes from customer referrals. While our Marietta family was new to Allen Pool Service, we now service all their pool care needs and hope to do so for years to come.
People renovate for many reasons—sometimes normal wear and tear occurs, sometimes their designs are outdated, and other times they want update to the latest pool technology. Renovations are an investment, but we are skilled at helping customers get the renovations they need at the price they are able to pay. For instance, if you update your equipment while renovating, you may save a considerable amount of money on energy and maintenance costs in the long term. Safety is another major concern, especially for families with children. As a pool service company, we are dedicated to making sure your renovation fits your vision and your budget. We will work closely with you every step of the way to ensure that your renovation is exactly as you dreamed.
